FIRST VISION QUESTIONS

Question 1.  

Why are there at least 5 different versions of the "First Vision"?

Question 2.

Why was the FIRST "First Vision" version written in 1832, two years after the church was organized, and it only states that "God" visited him in the grove.

Question 3.

Why does the FIRST version, archived with Joseph Smith's handwriting, state that he was 16 not 14?

Question 4.

Why are there NO RECORDS in anyone's journals of the first vision PRIOR to 1832 (actually later) of the "First Vision", when it is taught that Joseph told others that he was persecuted for saying that he had the vision. 

Question 5.

Why do the archived records of the area (Newspapers, etc.) state that the "Revivals" Joseph talked about happening in 1820, actually didn't get to their area until around 1823?

Question 6. 

Why did another version of the "First Vision" state that there were many angels in the vision?

Polygamy/Polyandry

Question 1.

The "revelation" on Polygamy happened in 1843.  Why did Joseph have at least 12 wives at that point?  

Question 2.

There was never a revelation on Polyandry, yet Joseph had 11 wives that were married to other men.  How could he do this when it was stated that he could never lead his followers astray because the Lord would take him first?

Question 3.

Why did Joseph LIE about his wives just months before he was killed, saying he "only knew of one"? ESPECIALLY IF THIS WAS A REVELATION FROM GOD!!

BOOK OF ABRAHAM QUESTIONS.

Question 1.

Why don't the Papyri (surfaced in the 1960's) and the Book of Abraham match? 

Question 2.

Why has the church now stated that the papyri were in Joseph's possession when he received the inspiration that is the Book of Abraham, but it was no longer a translation of the papyri.... BUT, they still have the illustrations from the papyri in the Book of Abraham?

LAMANITES

QUESTION 1.

Why are the American Indians NO LONGER CONSIDERED LAMANITES (since DNA evidence surfaced)?
